This is a wonderful business, including the best watch repair service in the valley. Great family, great service, great feeling being in their shop.

Being a long time customer of this shop, not for trinkets or nutcrackers, but clock work and the art of clock making this family has no equal in Utah. All the sons have gone through an extensive apprenticeship of clock making and repairs approved by the international clock making guild. They even have internationals fame from visitors and manufacturers of specialty time pieces still in production and out of production.

Unfortunately, americas historical time pieces and companies who made many works of art clocks and watches has made it difficult to keep up with demands since they have to manufacture many gears and parts some clocks and watches need.

They are a part of history and a life I think that is being threaded so severely by electronics I don't know how long they can hold out and doomed to become museum specialist restoration workers.

Buyer beware. This business is great if you are looking for a large selection of nutcrackers. However, if you go there looking for watch repairs, you may be disappointed. Their watch repair service is average, at best, and very overpriced. Do your homework before going there and you will find that higher quality repairs are available elsewhere in Salt Lake City, and at much more reasonable prices.

Pay the higher prices and keep them in business! Enjoyed the story.

Best clock repair shop, bar none!!!! Because I was born in Germany, I inherited a gorgeous cuckoo clock, albeit beat up after many moves, that my parents bought in Germany around 1955. Mt. Olympus had it for nearly a year, but when they returned it, the clock was in pristine condition and is now the centerpiece of our dining room. I cannot recommend their craftsmanship highly enough.

I used to drive by there all the time, and always wondered about its background. I'll be sure to stop in next time.
