Sounds like the chances of DJ actually ending up at Utah are iffy at best since it appears that he probably isn't academically eligible.

Utah does a good job working with guys to get them eligible. If DJ is willing to put in the work, I think he can make it.

He is a kid I am really pulling for. Being 18 and being made fun of on a national scale is a lot for a kid to bear, and it sounds like he had some people around him not really looking out for his best interest.

Let's get him on campus and part of the Utah family.

Yeah, Andre Miller was academically intelligible too. How did that work out?

I really like that cute Ute sign.

Welcome to the pac 12 DJ, you'll love it.

Re: sammyg

We really like the cute little midmajor teams. Utah has struggled to win in the Pac-12, but the only loss against a midmajor was at USU in 2011 (3-0 vs BYU).

"I really like that cute Ute sign."

We love our Ute sign. Did you know the "U" sign is flashed by every Utah gymnast during every floor exercise? Football and basketball players spontaneously flash the "U" at appropriate times. Very fun to watch and to be a part of. You have no idea what you are missing. Clearly, you feel left out so here's a suggestion...

Get the music video "YMCA" by the Village People. They will show you how to make a "Y." The Village People, sammyg, are the key to easing your frustrations.

Welcome to Utah, Dacorius!! It's is indeed a great time to be a Ute!

It's too bad there's not some dishonest system of rectifying early high school grades that a school can utilize for their own athletes only that others schools aren't allowed to...

Let's be sure to send him some PAC stickers. That should make the difference.

Or better yet maybe everyone should have utah's low standards for admittance.

What's "academically intelligible"?

So glad DJ is going to be a Ute! This kid is very athletic and I'm sure will be a big part of the Utes offense in the coming years.

I enjoy all of the jabs from byu fans about the pride Utah fans have in their conference affiliation. Keep it coming guys, every time you post it shows just how jealous you are of Utah.

I love having that PAC12 logo on our football field, basketball court and all of the student athletes uniforms accross the board. Utah is part of a great conference with a rich history of winning.

It's about time you figure out a way to deal with it. Maybe you could go to the mall and get some WCC stickers made or come up with your own independent sticker. Of course you will have to find room to fit in a dozen sponsors logos too because we all know that coug fans won't buy anything they need to be given something.

Go Utes!
