Well, Alec Burks has showed us what he can do when given the opportunity to start. His scoring was the same as Hayward. The big difference is he is taking far few shots and hitting a better FG%.

The other factor to be considered is that Burks is leading the team in free throw attempts. Getting to the line like he does is an elite NBA skills that stars have. It racks up fouls on your opponents and puts them on the bench at times while you are scoring from the line with no defenders.

It would make one wonder whether we have the right starters on the floor. One has to consider there are only so many possessions to be had when you put all your best in the starting lineup and Alec definitely needs the ball. Maybe though our starting lineup would be better with him on the floor and someone else off the bench?

The other big question is whether Kanter and Favors can realistically play together consistently. They are both Centers because neither can guard the perimeter stretch 4's. Kanter can't defend anything and defensive stats are horrific with him on the floor.
