I didn't know him, but I feel like I should say thanks! Sometimes we forget how much we rely on others to protect us and make our lives better. I send out a prayer because I know every one makes a difference. May God bless his family and all other officers.

A very well written article. Thank you. What a lovely family. I hope Officer Wride did not die in vain. The kind of men who dio these things should be remembered. I truly hope it won't be life back to normal now the funeral is over. I have seen no news about the perpetrators at all since the incident. God bless the Wride family with peace and comfort.

I feel for this good family. May God bless them. I think there is more good than evil in this world but the evil is put on the news where all the good that happens rarely seems to make it.

Life is really harsh sometimes. Very sad situation. The bottom line here is this world is full of evil people that care nothing for humanity.
