Life is a wonderful choice!Thank you for your courage and for
sharing such a bitter sweet experience. We look forward to the day when the
Lord will "wipe away every tear" fromour faces, and we will be
reunited with our loved ones once again.
What a beautiful baby boy! Bless you for giving him his life, however brief,
and bless you for sharing your story with us. I can tell from your words that
you truly have God's spirit with you.
Dear Blick Family.I am so sorry for your loss. Baby Zion brought much
happiness and blessings to your family in such a short time he was on this
Earth. We lost our baby boy, William, to Trisomy 18 on January 1, 2014. I
carried him throughout most of my pregnancy knowing I will have to deliver him
straight to Heavenly Father's loving arms...and that is what happened. In Jeremiah 1:5 it reads "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart". God knew both of our boys before he
sent them to us and their spirits were perfect with no need to experience the
trials of the Earthly life. Someday, the children we lost will be ours again. All I can say is that I understand your great joy and deep pain more than
words can express.
Thanks for living what I believe....life is truly precious no matter how short.
With all my heart I know you, like all parents who lose their little loved ones
early, will have the opportunity to rear Zion.........God's plan is good
and mankind and their ideas cannot take away from His word and love. May the
Lord continue to bless Zion's family.
I imagine the Blick's thank someone or something beyond themselves and
hospital staff. Sweet, sweet happening. And what a beautiful experience for
Yes Dennis, the medical teams are always wonderful and always appreciated. But they are no more impressive than these parents and this family. Please do not sully their experience by your disrespect of them in your
assertion that someone else in this story was more impressive.
He was too pure to endure the trials of life. He awaits you in the celestial
kingdom. You will still have the opportunity to raise him.
I would personally be a little more impressed by the medical personnel that make
this all possible. A round of applause to the dedicated medical staff.
So wonderful and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
"The choice is life and always giving him a chance" and so many unborn
babies not having that chance.
Bless you and Bless Zion for his courage. Thank you so much for sharing him with
the world. May Heavenly Father's arms surround you at this time.
