Thank the Lord that we have such dedicated Officers who are willing to put their lives on the line so that thousands of us can sleep abed in safety. God bless them, and their families.

Vest do save lives. Too bad bullet proof patrol cars are not available and ksl brought that up which is expensive. Thank you guys for protecting us and helping us out but wish we can do the same for you guys.

As a strong supporter of the "men in blue", this article documents a "pattern of behavior" on the part of the shooters. One theory would be that they are all drug related. It would seem logical to assume that if officers respond according to training that there may be a similar response on the part of the shooters. The shooters may well be receiving military training. I worked in a juvenile prison where I came across a similar scenario on the stealing of military weapons and the use of former military for training purposes. The bottom line is that police officers protect all of society. There needs to be a concise investigation whether it be a "60 Minutes" type or other to find out why these officers are being shot while being "good Samaritans".
