I was incredibly sad to read about Hot Rod. Most everything we loved about the Jazz and the games went directly through Hot Rod, especially those of us who seldom actually were able to go to the games and experienced them through TV or the radio. Whenever the games were on national TV, I would turn off the sound and listen to Hot Rod on the radio while watching. I hope that he is getting good care in order to deal with this dreadful disease as best he can. Makes me so sad.

Go Jazzboys tonight...hope Favors will be playing.

All the best to Hot Rod and our prayers are with you. HR was such a part of the Jazz it's sad to see this news.
And the legacy he left is so strong that the poor new radio guy has no chance to ever live up to his abilities or legacy.
