48 pts and 0 assists, that's a team player.

Danbury, CT

I don't care if he scored 148 if the team loses...

West Valley City, Utah

If your hot, shoot. He did. Great performance.

Can you imagine if all these guys played in the PAC-12 they would have been soooooo much better than they were playing for BYU? Man, only one can wish they had the opportunity to play for an elite conference like that...super jealous right here.

Maybe you should read the list again and realize how and where these teams finished. Great shooters fun to watch but would always take a win.

I don't understand how it's even possible to play 50 game minutes and not register a single assist and only grab three boards. He's a good shooter, obviously, but that is not good basketball.

I am truly amazed at some of these posts. Did they even watch the game? Nobody and I mean nobody moves without the ball like Haws in college basketball. His job is to come off screens, catch and shoot. If he gets the ball in space he is to drive to the basket, that is his role on the team . Carlino and Collinsworth get the assits and with Haws shooting they will get plenty of them.. Last night Haws was guarding jump shooters that left Autin to get double digit rebounds. So quit complaining. All you trolls just do not get it. Haws played a remarkable game last night. He was so exhausted that he could hardly move at the end. So was everyone else. Sharp from Portland had a game that he will never have again... it happens in sports. People need to sit back and watch Tyler , it will be a while until you see anything like him again. In 2 1/2 years of play he is approaching the top 10 in scoring at BYU. A year from now he will become The Y's leading scorer of all time. Let's enjoy the ride.

Salt Lake City, UT

I new who the greatest winner on the list would be before I read it -- the man with three NBA rings.

Stockton, CA

The end result too often comes down to free throws with this team. It's the most immediately fixable problem they've got, but no-one seems to be addressing it seriously.

80% from the stripe and most of this season's losses are wins.

Every player, every day...200 free throws on your own time. After 200,can't stop until you hit 12 in a row.

Do it.

Blacksburg, VA

When you're shooting that well, you don't pass. That's how that works. Carmelo Anthony scored 63 last night, and he had 0 assists. Now, yes, this is 'Melo, who doesn't pass anyway...but when you're hot, you shoot. You don't pass. They passes are coming to you. 48 points and no assists? No problem with that. 18 points and no assists? Then there is an issue.

"48 pts and 0 assists, that's a team player."

Loveridge: 22 points, 1 assist
Wright: 21 points, 2 assists
Total assists: 8

Matt Carlino, coming off the bench, had 9 of BYU's 17 assists.

Not sure how anyone can knock a guy who just scored 48 in 50 minutes of play. Haws was 10 of 13 from the line. Mika/Collinsworth were 8 of 16 from the line. Here's where the game was lost. 50% doesn't cut it. BYU has lost at least 4 games this year, maybe 5, from the line.
