Interesting, but the TP stats have a flaw. In Europe and several other areas, bidets are the norm. That means way less TP use. Diaper uses is also a questionable stat about prosperty/age. Among my more crunchy granola/hipster/eco-aware friends here (in Fl and in California where I'm from) and abroad, using cloth diapers is a sign of eco-awareness. And prosperity,too. Most of those moms aren't worrying about having to get them to laundromats to wash them. (I'm one of those, by the way. Cloth diapers all the way!) I wonder if the researchers used additional factors to filter for local alternatives to the disposable mindset?
