Incomprehensible and incredibly saddening.

Consolations to all.

An inexplicable and incredibly sad story. My condolences to all who are suffering.
I'm glad Mr. King mentioned Josh's family too. They must also be suffering terribly.

Can we please move on? I think this story has been given enough burn. Let those murdered RIP.

Sure there is,
Checks what meds he had been taking.

They were ALL victims.

There is no pain like grief! It is especially bad when we loved the ones lost so deeply. But I have one consoling thought. They are with Heavenly Father now. He is taking care of them. Remember the good memories and the fun times. So very sorry for your loss!

Is it possible that Josh didn't do this?

I can't wait for DN to print the article on this story that will prove all my blocked comments were correct. Have a great day.

Although my heart aches for this family I am perplexed as to why this story has garnered so much more press than the almost identical story of murder suicide involving a woman and boyfriend and her 2 daughters that took place a few days before this tragedy in the Layton area. Am I missing something?

Regardless to what the answer is my heart aches for all of these families. May God bless and keep all of you during this time of need. Godspeed to the departed and may they all Rest In Peace.

There is no way to adequately express sympathy to anyone touched by such a tragedy.

Often times the hurt is compounded when answers are sought and cannot be found. Sometimes there are no satisfying answers. And though I have a strong belief in God, I do not feel that everything that happened was 'supposed' to happen. Agency doesn't always bring about happy endings. But I do believe that even in the most tragic circumstances that the Savior can bring peace -- not always answers, but peace and in the eternities we will be compensated for our losses.
