Listening to Ogbe on the pre-game radio show, it's obvious he's a delightful kid, his English is nearly perfect, and he really seems to approach the mental aspect of college life and D1 college basketball very well. A very, very impressive young man.

He mentioned that playing basketball back in Germany, they all knew about UCLA (which is certainly understandable) and seeing him get that big opportunity today and take advantage of it was really fun to watch. Afterward, on the radio show, he said some things in German to his old high school teammates.

In terms of basketball, Ogbe is long, he's 6-6, he definitely needs to spend a lot of time in the weight room and get up to about 195 or 200, but the thing that stands out is his ability to shoot the ball - very clean and very consistent. Hard worker who earns the minutes he gets, but this kid's best days of basketball are ahead of him.

Ogbe and his shooting remind me of another Utah player who was in attendance today with all the other players from the 90s - Phil Dixon, from Canada.

Great job, Ogbe! Couldn't have won it without you today.

Go Utes!!
