    Could some of the Utah fans please explain the difference between the PAC-12 and the prestigious PAC-12?

    MyPerspective

    What does Utah's shooting efficiency have to do with football?

    It's laughable that Utah fans are forced to switch the subject to their pathetic football team, because their basketball team is even more pathetic.

    BYU will likely be Utah's best win of the season and Utah will likely be BYU's worst loss of the season - just like Stanford and Utah in football.

    Such is the state of the two programs.

    "51.3% is a great % except for when you factor in the worst preseason schedule then it is not impressive. Take off 20% points against tougher opponents and you have it about right."

    Yet the Utes handled byu as if they were playing Savannah St.

    As far as Utah "getting up" for byu...your boys should try it some time. After all, even a home game, magic uniforms, a bye strategically scheduled before the game KVN hung around for wasn't enough for your boys. Now, the byu basketball team is "just like football." Say it with me, Down under...Just Like Football!

    USC will be a fun game. Get it done, Utes!!

    @Gone Fishin

    Don't know what happened to origional response but lets try again. My all CAPS response was intended for Down Under. I'm glad you are content, as am I. I also live in PAC 12 (and WCC) country. Utah won at U Dub last year in hoops; I don't recall anyone laughing then. My Oregon alum and friend certainly didn't laugh when the Ducks narrowly won in SLC a few weeks ago. I wouldn't consider BYU the laughing stock of the WCC; but they have been less than impressive; especially this year. That's easy to see; swept by the Zags last year, and will be again this year. Back to back loses to lowly Peperdine and LMU to start conference play. Impressive!

    When did I go on a BYU thread and do the "exact same thing". You will generally find my comments regarding BYU on topic and constructive. In the future, you may want to get your facts straight before making false accusations.

    Have a good evening and don't forget to set your drag!

    If the Utes fall to USC at home, the season, for all practical purposes, would be over.

    @fishin

    Also, you reference a couple of Utah fans for doing the same. Look at this thread alone and you will see the usuall Utah Haters out in force. Is there really any difference between Chris B and Down Under? Personally, I don't care for the M.O.; but to each his own.

    Spokane,
    No, I am not angry and don't use all capital letters to show my frustration. I am completely content that the Cougars have won 11 of 13 over the utes and have been to post-season tourneys the last 8 or 9 seasons in a row. BYU is respected in their conference and are not the laughing stock of the conference. I live in PAC country and see it.

    I am on the ute threads because you, Chris b, ekute, and the like do the exact thing on BYU articles. Now that is curious.

    Gone Fishing

    Then why are you on a Utah thread comparing your team to the Utes? Why are you always on Utah articles comparing BYU to Utah? Now that's curious?

    Ouch; I guess I'd be angry too!

    @AZUTE

    They can't, that's all they have.

    Starting to sound an awful lot like Football.

    Spokane,
    Shall we look at the last 13 games to see WHO beats up on who. Yeah, I didn't think so.
    Please do no think for a second that BYU would trade places with the utes. That is laughable. Who would want to be the laughing stock of any conference.

    Playing in the post-season tourneys is not outside looking in. You have that reversed.

    "It must be brutal to get beat by your rival over and over again,..."

    You should know. The Utes have lost 7 of the last 8, 12 of the last 16.

    During the Dave Rose era
    BYU 220-73 (75%), 6 NCAAs, 2 NITs, 8 20+ win seasons, 4 conf champs, 1 Nat'l POY
    Utah 128-141 (48%), 1 NCAA, 6 losing seasons, 1 conf champ

    Current RPI
    #50 BYU
    #172 Utah

    New flash, THE SEASON IS NOT OVER, NOT EVEN CLOSE! I hope that's simple enough for you to understand. It must be brutal to get beat by your rival over and over again, and be reduced to trolling there threads and take shots at the program you long to be. It must be humiliating to be on the outside looking in.

    Spokane,
    It is really simple. It says that the only game the utes can ever get up for is the BYU game since that IS their ENTIRE season.

    "In last week’s losses at Washington and Washington State, they were a combined 35-of-97 — including a paltry 3-of-29 from 3-point range."

    The biggest difference between last week's performance and the team that is "officially" the 2nd best shooting team in the PAC 12...

    By the way did anyone notice that the very same team that beat the utes last week scored a whopping 17 points in the entire 1ts half of their game tonight. So much for the mighty pac. What does that say about the ute program? Hmmm...... Let the excuses begin
