This had to be a waste of time and money. Who's out the funds for this non-meeting?

Governor, just remember, that no matter how sincere he may seem, NOTHING President Obama says can be counted on to be the truth, or that his commitments will be honored.

I'm embarrassed for our state. Herbert should be kept on a shorter leash.

The citizens have paid for this trip. We need a FULL report of what was on the table and even a possible transcript. Our people appear to go to Washington and and become starry eyed because of meeting with the President and forget what they are there for and in order to feel important agree with him rather than confronting him with our real issues. NSA, Bringing home our soldiers, Illegal immigration, gun control, the NON FEDERAL Federal reserve, and the NON FEDERAL IRS, Direct Presidential appointments bypassing Congress, He wants to use Utah as a Standard? Come on, We are making a little headway but we are not leaders in anything and more like followers. We do not stand up for our "original" Constitution. Sooo let's get the full scoop of what we have paid for. We do not pay for vacation "EGO" trips.

"overreach of the federal government," Gary? Really? Call it what you want to call it. But it's the laws of this great land that you refuse to enforce, hence a federal judge reminding you that everyone has constitutional rights, not just those who fit your ideological dream of "real Americans. Or the EPA coming in to enforce federal environmental laws in order to protect us all, rather than state policy that is designed to protect those who line your pockets.

Loose the right-wing rhetoric that only appeals to a marginal base. Be the leader you were elected to be. Represent all state residents, not just those from one constituency.

The governors are talking but is the president really listening? He has his agenda and the governors are just pieces on a giant chess board.

"Represent all state residents, not just those from one constituency."

And the Democrat-led states are doing a model job of that, aren't they? If you lived in New York, somehow I doubt you would be leading the charge for Republicans to be better represented. Don't be a hypocrite.

I am an intelligent, educated human being; why would you say I'm a sheep?
(Because you needed me to tell you the difference between right and wrong.)
Do You Know Why Bribery Is A Crime?
Bribery is a violation of Constitutional equality, under all laws, by its citizen members.
This principle is known by most all members of our group, but because of instinct-Satan, awareness of the sin or immorality of its supported use is taken from the individual's beliefs and logic, because of survival risks to status quo operations in current reality. Instinct is an advanced artificial intelligence program from God; without moral judgments.
Take action; corporate mission laws (must spend share holders money on profit or humanitarian expenditures only) proves that political donations are profit driven Bribery call, email, but do something to try to stop unlawful bribery of our public offices. If we the people voice our opinions instead of being sheep, good things will happen, trust God and do what is right. your brother Jonathan defending our constitution for equality.

To the Editorial Staff of Deseret News:

Why are you blocking my comments about the issue of the DOD's plans to divest itself of the Kiowa Scout Helicopter and then call for the States to turn over control of their Apache Helicopters to the Active Army. This is a major issue...and much so since the Office of the Secretary of Defense just pulled the plug on any further briefings about National Guard Cuts and the reorganization of the Army's aerial combat assets. Apparently no one on your staff understands the significance of Dept. of State publication 7277 otherwise you woud be researching this. I was a Force Development Officer under the Clinton Administration that helped to augment the National Guard conversion of Heavy Combat Engineers to Mechanized Engineer units prior to Desert storm so I know what I am talking about. I already told you I am a retired Army Engineer Officer and once a former officer with the 1457th Engineer Bn out of American Fork.
