When I started out in my adult life, I thought I was invincible, next to perfect and had the world by the tail.

    What a croc.

Now, over 30 yrs later, I see just how much work I have to do to become a fully competent, disciplined, achieving adult. I've accomplished a lot but can clearly see I have a long ways to go.

One of the things I've learned about me is I am sooooo much more negative/pessimistic than I thought I was. Not good.

I try to remember, as I get older, what this article talks about, that is, that every 'failure' brings an opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

    Good luck to us all!

Excellent article. How refreshing to have such a positive and encouraging message. I believe the more we can read stories of this type in media, the more individuals will shed the base and vile and instead pursue their noble aspirations.
