* It's called "paying people not to work".
* It's being dependent on middle east oil when we have oil in our own country to drill for.
* Let's have free trade, and import products made by slave labor.

Michelle Obama has extended her Hawaiian vacation on our tax dollar, while her billionaire husband flies back to Washington DC to declare another war on poverty.

Hmm?

Yippee!! It ought to work this time, right? Probably not and we get back to that same old question of how are we going to pay for it.
I wish just for once that we would quit making new programs but instead make ones we have really work. But I guess that is to much to ask for.

Methinks Mr. Obama doesn't know what real poverty is. Truly poor people don't have cable TV or cell phones. A trip to South America or Africa to see real poverty may be in order.

80% of the world's population would kill to be a "poor" person in the United States.

Doom and gloom.

I found it funny that he said that he wants to give a hand up, not a hand out, then listed out a bunch of handouts that they were going to give to cities.

What I am trying to figure out is how they expect local governments to make jobs? If they really wanted to do somethings about job creation why is the government still creating new policies that discourage job creation or continue to create job killing policies?
