1.3 million Utahns cut from public assistance. But lets spend $2
million dollars fighting gay marriage. Oh, and while we are at it,
lets blame Liberals about the debt that Regan tripled and Bush doubled.

"trash" Judge Shelby's excellent, Constitution-based decision.
Re: "Bad decision"Not at all.Bad decisions were
certainly made by California politicos, when they cynically chose not to defend
the will of the Californians that elected them, corruptly taking a dive, before
a punch was thrown, in the contest over Prop 8.It is, on the other
hand, a manifestly good decision for a lawyer to give his clients the best
representation possible. It's also a canon of legal ethics to
have the humility and good sense to be able to determine when a lawyer's
skills don't rise to a proper level of competence in a particular area,
recognizing when it's wise to call in outside help, in the interest of the
client. No lawyer is expected to be an expert in every area of the law.I don't know the new AG, but I'm liking what I've seen so far.
None of the best attorneys in Utah wanted to take up this losing battle.
I'm not Mormon, but I like knowing I stand with Mormon prophet Monson on
the gay marriage issue.

nver really know...
Don't blame our new AG for this, blame the Govenor, our legilature and the
citizens who put them in office. Evidently, most of them feel throwing 2
million dollars away to defend an unconstitional act is worthy of our
