Lowell was my music teacher at Bingham High School in 1953. His quiet enthusiasm, gentle critiques, and support encouraged me to be active in music for the rest of my life. He even snuck me into the Utah Symphony as his assistant in the precussion section when the Book of Mormon Oratorio premier was sold out. His long career in providing music and music instruction with love is appreciated by all of us who have benefited. Lowell you are one of a kind, bless you.

Lowell was my Marimba teacher during the 80's. I still have my marimba that he sold to my family and play often. What a talented, great musician! I am grateful that I was able to take music lessons from him before he and his wife left on their mission. I was also able to play with him at my oldest brother's wedding at the Lion House many years ago. He hasn't changed in years, still young and vibrant!
