I think this is a great tradition! Sure gives a great alternative to what is otherwise usually a pretty boring holiday! I especially commend the planning committee on making it Family Friendly. Way to go with two times for Fireworks, and including other family activities. Salt Lake leads out once again in how to do a holiday right!

This is an activity that should be abolished. It seems to be largely family friendly, but what it really does is train children that it is acceptable to be out until all hours of the night. As these children become teens and young adults, their appetetites will demand more and more stimulation. The inevitable result will be greater indulgence in substance abuse and immorality. Wise parents will treat New Years Eve as the hedonistic abomination that it is and will avoid it at all costs.
