These parents look so sad, so depleted of life. If I could help I would.

Mount Pleasant, UT

We can't lose hope that the person who hit him will realize it or take responsibility for the accident. I don't know how anyone could live with themselves especially if they are aware they may have hit someone and didn't confess. My heart and prayers go out to this family and I hope and pray peace will be theirs soon and all the questions will be answered for them.

Vancouver, BC

These parents are very strong people bless their hearts. I'm weak. If anything like this happened to one of my sons, my life would be over. I would just stop living, dry up and blow away.

Richmond, VA

I've never experienced losing a child and can't imagine what it would be like but understanding the Lord's plan of salvation no doubt can help bring a measure of comfort and peace. I do pray that young couple will find that soon if they haven't already. They do look like they are still in deep mourning. I wonder if the driver who killed their son have seen this picture of the bereaved parents and feel any kind of compassion at all. How on earth could he live with himself? So sad!

I can understand why the parents would want to know. But, let's say it was an accident but the person
who did it gets accused of intentional murder. The justice system is very harsh with people who
confess sometimes. A 30 yr old mother (dui) in Tennessee "took responsibilty" and got 35 years.
