Big 12 Call Yet?

And just when you think things were going to turn around for the aggies.

Although this may be one of those 1-2 game suspensions, run some laps. and be right back. Most likely this is the case.

Utah State was handled by byu and byu was handled by Utah. Aggies, just be grateful we didn't want to play you this year. Would you really like to lose in an embarrassing fashion to both your rivals this year?

The magic of aggie basketball just hasn't been there the past several years.

Just like football, 3rd best team in Utah. And that's hardly something to be proud of

Logan, Utah

What happened? What did he do? Aggie Fans have a right to know.

We'd love to play you...but unfortunately your AD was trying to avoid any more embarrassment and decided not to schedule the Aggies this year. Plus we'd hate to play you right now and have your team lose their focus on the upcoming St Katherine's game...that powerful PCAC team who is just inaugurating their basketball team this year....LOL way to man up.

Logan, UT

No, actually we don't. That's between him, his coaches, and the team. Unlike BYU, Utah State doesn't air its players' dirty laundry in front of everyone in order to cultivate an image of piety.

I hope Shaw can get back to square with Stew and the team soonish. We don't need another year like last year with players dropping like flies.

We'll play, but we're going to demand a 2 for 1. Why? Because we can.

If you were ever in a big boy conference(LOL) we'd do a 1 for 1 with you. But when you're a bigger and better program you can demand certain things.

The fact is we already have plenty of games against teams from big conferences. You do not.

You need to play us a lot more than we need to play you.

Don't like it?

Want to talk about manning up?

Join a big boy conference like we did.

@chrisb. Big conference? Is that why you played Evergreen State College and St. Martins this year. Both of those teams I am very familiar with and know our local high school team could beat them.

I will admit I have been excited to see the running utes improve this year. Comments from the likes of Chris B seem to douse the excitment flame.

I love all the use of the first person on this thread. "we'll play you." or "We'd love to play you" as you you are involved in these decisions in any way. People: you are fans. At best you should support a team and be entertained by them. At worst you're often crybabies and whiners. In no case are you decision makers or ADs. Your trash talk is silly, to say the least.

Lehi, UT

I hope they get this squared away and Shaw is back soon.

@Aggie253 BYU does not air the dirty laundry of players except to say that they have been suspended due to Honor Code violations. We found out about Spencer Hadley through other media channels, but BYU never came out and said it was due to him partying in Las Vegas. Take off your hater glasses. You're as bad as Christy B.

Iron and simple:

Aggie fans ought to be more worried about the upcoming games with flyweight/powerhouses Western Illinois and San Diego Christian.

Clearfield, UT

Ball Player I second your comments. Most posters just use this forum to trash talk because they can. I agree with Aggie 253. Why air dirty laundry. No need. Go Aggies.

Chris B and Big 12…I just don't get it…why do you get pleasure in dumping on the Aggies?

scottsdale, AZ

Big 12 calling, by your analysis Utah beat Stanford Stanford beat ASU Utah should be in the rose bowl. And USU rightfully should be the third best team in Utah. It is the third largest, third in funding, and third in financial resources, third in alumni. But how about something constructive…like what would you do to improve athletics..play like you are the AD. Come on now, let's hear something constructive for a change.

Cottonwood Heights, UT

It doesn't matter what rules he broke.. It's just unfortunate for the school and the fans. My biggest concern is for him. I hope he is able to get over this situation and get his life on track.

@Chris B

"But when you're a bigger and better program you can demand certain things."

It goes without saying: Utah basketball is NOT better than Aggie basketball. Who has had more wins in the last 14 years? NCAA tourney appearances? Better recruits? All Utah State in the last 14 years, Chrissy.

The Utes have ONE good win this season. I'll be interested to see how they fare against PAC competition.

By the way, the Utes won't play in Logan because "Dr." Chris Hill knows they'll lose. BYU coach Dave Rose has never won in Logan, so why would Larry fare any better?

The Mountain West is a better bball conference than the PAC, Chrissy. If anything, the Ags should get two games in Logan for one in the Huntsman center! It would be poetic justice for Hill's weak scheduling tactics.

Oh yeah, and we've won 3 of the last 4 hoops contests against U.

scottsdale, AZ

What drives Chrissy to post on USU forums when he has no interest, support, or evolvement in USU athletics? I guess he feels fulfilled when he derides the Aggies.

North Logan, UT

I'm saddened to hear this has happened to Jarred. What few interactions I've had with him have been very positive. I take my hat off to Stew for doing the right thing. It's easy in today's quest to have a winning program to look past things like this.

Mwc better than the Pac 12?

Go check the rankings(#1 team, and 3 total top 25 teams in pac 12)

When was usu's last sweet 16 win?

elite 8 win?

final 4 win?

Oh that's right, Utah has a more recent one of every one of those than usu.

You guys are the best team in Logan, embrace it!

scottsdale, AZ

Chrissy, you are correct. Utah is better in every respect than USU. So what? Do you take personal responsibility for that? If so, congratulations.
