LP is still the best team.Alta, AF, Davis, adn Bingham won't
make it easy but if I was a betting maqn- I wouldn't go against TJ Haws.PS LP lost 4 D-1 players from last year. Mika, Emery, Toolson, and
Shumway. All had D1 offers.
I am the last person who thinks LP should get any sympathy, in fact watching
them lose is nice. My point is don't count them out of anything, they are
"but nobody loses two D1 players and stays as good as they were."Lone Peak still has two D-1 players and a couple of others that will
play collegiately at some level. Cry me a river, but nobody has more talent on a
year in and year out basis than Lone Peak does. Sorry plyxply but
Lone Peak isn't going to get my sympathy.
Lone Peak is still a very good basketball team, but nobody loses two D1 players
and stays as good as they were. Haws shot doesn't look as sharp as in the
past, but I only watched this one game.Bingham is surprisingly good, AF is
good, and Alta is very good. I like that Utah teams are bringing top out
of state teams to play, it was very fun to watch yesterday.By the way, it
looked like TJ travelled on that last shot, but that ref swallowed his whistle.
Love it "Prep Fan 89". I watched this Orem team get blown out several
times by Pleasant Grove during the summer league. So much hype for both LP and
Orem. Mica was a college capable player last year and that was why they
dominated. Now LP has to work for every shot.
@ "souptwins": Orem lost to Denver East 71-60 on Friday and were blown
out 85-61 on Thursday by Foothill, Nevada. Were you at an Orem
Junior Jazz game somewhere else where Orem won?
Too late for Orem to "get swept" since they won tonight.
@Uncle Sam--never say no way!
Lone Peak = Very very average this year. No way that they will win 5A this
year. That Lone Peak vs. Orem game will be a yawner tomorrow. Orem
about to get swept in it's own tourney.
