Words cannot describe the horrific death of these children. There is no defense to what happened. But, I place the blame on the authorities as well, especially those in the State of Washington. They put a lot of pressure on Josh Powell but failed to properly supervise his contact with the children. The so-called experts (social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists) all claimed he was unfit to be a parent and have custody of the kids. If he was unfit and unstable, they should have bring Josh Powell to the children to a neutral environment. The sad part in all these is, everyone blamed Josh Powell and the experts bore no responsibilities to what they did. Common sense is, if you place a lot of psychological pressure on anyone, he/she will crack. They did and were unprepared for the consequences of their action. They walked away and left all the blame on Josh Powell. Susan's family should file suit to have them held accountable for their incompetence.

dski A lawsuit won't bring the boys back. It is over with. I doubt Susan will ever be found. I don't mean to callous. I am just pointing out reality.
