I fear that this could spell big foul trouble for the bigs of BYU. Let's hope that I'm wrong. It would be great to come away with a win.

Please just win in Massachusetts!! The momentum to carry past Prairie View A&M next week prior to Utah and Oregon the next two Saturday's would be huge.... x-2 is a great way to enter conference play... x-2 against ranked opponents is a great way to build confidence for making a deep run in March... Please don't just be an every other year Cougars team... Be that special team that appeared to be on the court as early as in Maples Pavilion. More than the great squad that opened up the season a few seasons ago 10-0 before running into the brick wall of UCLA... Yes, be as bright as the hope is shining before you!

This will be a big win for the NCAA resume. The teams look evenly matched on paper, but it's really hard to consider this a neutral site. This is essentially a home game for UMass.

If Mika and Austin stay out of foul trouble, I like our chances.

If Carlino and Haws are both on their game, BYU wins this one. Need 50 points out of those two.

"This is essentially a home game for UMass."

True; the MassMutual Center for UMass is much like EnergySolutions Arena for BYU, a short drive from campus to an arena in which they play at least one game every year.

A win for BYU today would not only help with securing an at-large berth, it would help improve seeding.

After 2 close, competitive and exciting games against nationally ranked teams that just barely fell short, we're due for a defining win.

Huge game for the Cougs. Another loss could be devastating. Keep Putney in check, make free throws, and stay out of foul trouble will be the key. If not, BYU is in trouble.

The GREAT thing about this early season schedule is 'we' still have ranked Oregon on the road... Today didn't happen... Can the 20th? Just go and do it! It is a lot closer to home and could have a corresponding fan contingent... In fact... Hmmm.... Perhaps my bro and I will be in attendance...
