I hope Haws can show up in a big game, and break the cycle of many
"great" BYU players of late, who take the day off when the competition
gets tough...just sayn'.
Cougars face an uphill battle against a very good USU team.I like
Rose, but Morrill is a bit better at developing his talent and preparing them
for games. The USU guard line and Shaw will give BYU all that it wants.Mika is key to keeping BYU in this game. If he is on the bench, BYU
loses ground.BYU has a deeper team and that may allow them to fend
off USU . . . but I predict an Aggie win!
Going to be a great game. BYU 90 USU 84
The season is just getting started, and this is already our 5th game against a
very good team. So far, we are 2-2 against good teams, and we had our chances
to win against ISU and Wichita St. The Cougs are playing better than I thought
they would with a very young team with no seniors. On paper, this
game against the Aggies looks pretty evenly matched. Hopefully, Haws can get
back on track. This one is for the state championship. Go Cougs!
It's unfortunate that Coach Rose is afraid to play the Aggies in Logan.
Finally.......a good game of basketball at Energy Solutions!
Looking forward to a great and exciting game!@earthquakejakeLogan, UT"It's unfortunate that Coach Rose is afraid to
play the Aggies in Logan."Umm, I wasn't aware that Rose is
afraid to play the Aggies in Logan! Whatever gave you that conclusion? The
article didn't say anything of that sort! May the better team win
though!Go Cougars! And good luck to the Aggies after tonight!
earthquakejakeSilly, uninformed comment.BYU and Utah
State have agreed to a home-home-neutral schedule - by definition, that means
that Coach Rose no more afraid of playing in Logan, than Coach Morrill is afraid
of playing outside the friendly confines of the Spectrum.
@earthquakejake - "It's unfortunate that Coach Rose is afraid to play
the Aggies in Logan."What? If memory serves me, 2011 was in
Logan. 2012 in Provo. And 2013 in SLC. I like the home, home and SLC
earthquakejakeLogan, UTBy implication, it's unfortunate that
the Aggies depend on playing at home if they want to win. One might as well say
that it is unfortunate the NCAA is afraid to hold any USU tournament play in
Logan. A neutral site of the Energy Solutions Arena is the better option.
We all know that Utah is afraid to play in the Spectrum, but that is another
story. The home team in this series always wins. The cougs won last
time in Salt Lake, hope it is the Aggies turn tonight. It will be a hard fought
close game. Go Big Blue!!!
