I'm delighted that at least one person (David Clark)in a position to influence the project believes the citizens of Washington County should have an opportunity to vote on the project.
All elected officials in St George and Washington have been ominously silent on the matter of a vote. So has the unelected and largely unaccountable water conservancy district.

Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, and Lake Mead are at historic low levels. We continue to ignore how climate change affects water quantity and quality. We are at the mercy of Mother Nature, but we continue to second guess what she has in store for us, we are setting up our own failure. We spend a lot of money based on speculation and we overlook the scientific information (discharge=recharge).
