I hope these teams play again. 4 of binghams 8 rotators only practiced twice with the team before the game. Plus with a new coach they are putting in a new offense. That's a tough spot to be in for the basketball program at Bingham. Bingham tried to change the day of the game months ago because they new this would be the case but Riverton coach wouldn't because he knew it was his only chance. Even with the kids not knowing any plays and not even picking a up a bball in months I thought they played well considering the circumstances.

I thought they played well also. Good hustle. But there was a lot of 1 on 1 basketball being played. I'm sure the fact that a chunk of those kids just got done playing football last Friday had something to do with it. Along with a new coach. I think the kids will get better with time. The Evans kid is their stud, and he was wearing pads up until last Friday. I don't think they will be a contender by any means. But I like this new coach. I think it's a good shot in the arm from what they've had as coach there the past few years.

DuBauh won or shared seven region titles in a row (05-'11).

Like him or not he is going to be a tough act to follow, in that category.

Bingham played like they were 12 points behind, instead of ahead, the entire 4th quarter, and lacked discipline.

Unbelievable: That's why I said it's a shot in the arm from the past few years. The past 2 were horrible under DuBauh. Ran his coaches off, ran kids off as well. I'm not saying he wasn't a good coach. But I just think his act got old, and there needed to be a change. I think this guy has support from the community. I again believe once these kids get a month together under their belt they will be a decent team. Like I posted before, some of these kids haven't been in basketball mode for only 5 days. I think they will catch on. I did like their hustle. But there was a lot of 1 on 1 playing. Not much playing as a team.

Thats my point, the head coach would call a play and only half the guys knew it because they were busy winning a Football state championship. Half of the kids have had 2 basketball practices. So yes it ended up with way to much one on one. He has a lot of bad habits to break from dubach. its going to take time to get it going his way.

Bingham looked bad at times playing a lot of 1 on 1 basketball and not really looking like a team they also couldn't rebound at all, one thing to think about is their starting point guard wasn't playing for whatever reason but it would be a totally different game if he's in there.

Gunner give me a break. You know what excuses are like right? you always get on here and thump your chest then make excuses when you lose. Not too many State Championships hanging in your rafters from the last decade. "But we win region championships baby"...face it Bingham isnt a basketball school.

Scoreboard. 0-1 hurts.

Pac 12 Fever: Please tell me where I said anything about winning a region championship. Reading comprehension not so good eh? The banner that is up there from this past decase came from beating Riverton, that I know. No excuse needed when we were winning a state football championship last week with some of those kids on the basketball team. BTW, How is that "Pac 12 Fever" going for you this year?
