Soooooo excited for this years basketball season. Look for Lp to repeat they might have lost the talent but just like Bingham in football Coach Lewis is always ready for a challenge. Should be a fun year

Last year's HS tournament at the Dee Events Center was terrific, the talent in both 5A and 4A was exciting to see, and the fans really supported their teams...it doesn't snow or rain in the gyms, an advantage over sitting through a football game...it will be a great season again, appreciate this article.

Where is the love for South Sevier in 2A?. Hunt left but the cupboard is far from bare and when you have a coach that has one a state championship as a player, 2 as a head coach and more as an asst you can never count the rams out.

re Jd Brooks, it is always great to see you placing a big bulls-eye on young people who do not deserve to have it. You in extent are giving a black eye to so many great and wonderful people (youth and adult) who live in the South Sevier area. Please refrain from your ridiculous comments that do affect youth who do not deserve the unwanted attention.

if you can't handle the heat you had better get out of the kitchen. All I said was that the rams can't be counted out. I didn't predict ANYTHING!

There is one team that Lone Peak wants no part of, and that is the Alta Hawks. The Hawks go to the state finals and return almost every single player, and you don't even mention them in the article? Come on James, do your homework!

Bingham? Why are they listed as a top team? Well I guess they are 0-1 now after tonight's loss, they aren't even a top 5 team. Pleasant Grove will also be a dark horse this year. Very talented guards and a solid post in Conway.

Don't count out Layton either, very very talented with a solid post that can dominate both ends. 5A is wide open this year!

Lone Peak, American Fork, Davis and Alta. Wow- what a year we have in store.

I predict it will be tight but LP will 4-peat bc Haws and Jackson are that good. And Lewis knows how to coach em up.

American Fork has 3 bigs that should dominate- Bailey, Rawson and Andrus.
Alta- brings back a lot of talent but not sold on them taking it all the way.
Davis is hard to leave out- bringing back their two best players.

Haws- Gatorade player of the year
Wade- 5A MVP Davis

1st team all state 5A

Andrus AF
