WOW! What a powerful conference, packed with pertinent & inspiring talks, music & a sprinkling of humor. We can draw from the sage suggestions spoken. In various ways, the speakers were all motivational & what makes it more relevant & valuable is that they have drawn from their own personal life experiences which is what we also love about the LDS Church Presidents. Because each speaker was wonderful, it's difficult to isolate one talk in particular but, because of what I'm presently going through in my life, I'm taking to heart what Brother Platt said because when we are NOT congruent/harmonious with our beliefs, internal STRIFE & CONFLICT are created, gaining momentum like a snowball rolling down hill, bowling us over in its' wake; sometimes flattening us to a degree where we cannot bounce back. Platt, who teaches Book of Mormon & New Testament classes at BYU said:

“We take the ordinary & mundane & give it richness,” Platt said. “When our daily behaving is congruent with out beliefs, we experience greater peace & clarity.”

A geat big THANK YOU to everyone involved in putting on & participating in Time Out for Women| I'm going when it's in Phoenix.

Female empowerment without feminism. Such win. I love it. :D
