Hoosiers and Rudy tie as best sports movie ever!

I love, LOVE, L-O-V-E "Rudy". It is one of my top 2 most favorite movies (the other is "The Natural").

I have the "Rudy" soundtrack and if I have not listened to it in a while, when I hear it again it never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

God loves a hard working underdog. It takes guts to fight on with nothing but raw hope and courage to carry you forward.

Good luck to all of us who have a dream and refuse to quit!

The BYU football team was in one other major motion picture that I can think of. That movie was "The Last Boy Scout" with Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans. The long shots of the football game from the blimp, and others of the crowd, were from the Holiday Bowl when BYU played Penn State, with Ty Detmer quarterbacking. I remember attending that game and at some point they announced a film crew was there to take shots of the game. If you know and look close, you can see the royal blue of the Cougars' uniforms in those long shots. Thus, BYU has been immortalized in more than one major motion picture. Of course, I saw only the TV-edited version of this movie!

It was actually the BYU vs. Texas A&M Holiday Bowl in The Last Boy Scout. It shows Detmer a lot.
