Where does the Church stand on the fine line between Obesity/a little heavy/and the Word of Wisdom?
If the WOW is as important as it's touted to be should a 400 lb. person be allowed in the Temple any more than an alcoholic?
Should temple clothing for example in men's clothing stop at a 40" waist? Womens dresses at size 18?
Just wondering out loud here.

Dennis, it's not against the word of wisdom to be overweight, even grossly overweight. It's against the word of wisdom to drink alcohol.

Of course it's against the word of wisdom. Is it wise and prudent to be 300 lbs overweight.
Abusing your body "temple" with hundreds of pounds of unneeded fat?
This is an issue in the church that isn't addressed because it might "offend" someone. Let the offending begin. Humanity has no right to be obese, sloppy and wasteful in their eating habits. I'm no fanatic but wondering why this is ignored in the Church.

Its against the word of wisdom because you say so? Sorry, that doesn't make it so.
