    While waiting to hear the next update on the two young boys found shot to death in Daybreak... is it likely that one accidental shot killed both boys?

    Not very. Still wondering what happened.

    Too bad they can't also charge the shooter with being "stupid" but then they'd have to include too many others and our prisons are just too small.

    That one bullet shot can result in two crimes if it hits two people makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the if one bullet hits one person, that a state can prosecute a man for murder and if he gets off (claim of self defense etc.) the federal government if they don't like the ruling can then charge the man again. This .. IS .. double jeopardy.

    If a person in a single act violates both a state law and a federal law, the feds and the state need to decide between them who will prosecute.
