Sounds like there is some serious turmoil going on with the Herriman staff for OC Jeff Wilson to get on and make an explanation about the situation regarding a negative comment about their defense. As a parent of one of the players and a active member in the community I am very concerned with the current coaching situation. Coach Pearce has some changes that have to be made in order to get this team moving in the right direction. Offensively- Wilson does an ok job and Coach Pearce and him need to find a way to keep both Kammermann and Humenick, the rest can honestly go. Defensively- Hathaway,Riverton old coach B are the only ones neccessary for that side of the ball. After talking a great deal with my son he said that there were some personal issues this season and I just hope they are dealt with and Coach Pearce can move forward and get our boys to the turf next year. Best of Luck to them in the offseason.

Jordan's Defense was thier Achilles Heel. Need to overhaul everthing on the Defensive Side for 2014.

The Herriman defense had many great performances this season and is well coached by a tremendous staff who had to deal with a lot of injuries. If you are a troll, please stop. Would love to see Herriman get a little love for what they do on offense after watching the Brighton defense stonewall Jordan. Herriman had 500+ yards and 36 points against that same Brighton defense a week before, and the Herriman OL is as good as any in the state. They had their troubles early on when they were trying to figure out the QB situation, but over the last half of the season I thought that they were as good offensively as anyone in the state. Shame the Mustangs do not have much of a defense. Congrats to a very good Brighton team, who deserves to be in the title game and is going to give Bingham fits, it should be a heck of a battle!

Haha I was honestly kidding with my last comment there. Brighton was the much much better team on Friday and it showed. At the game I thought they were a complete team. Offensively they have Osa and their QB who can stay in the pocket and throw or make a play with his feet. Defensively they were impressive too, holding Jordan's offense tot 20 total points. Any how I enjoyed the trip to RES and hopefully can make another trip there next season with Jordan. For now, go Brighton

You lost the game, but you still have a great foundation with your All World QB coming back. Most teams have no one returning. 2014 looks very promising for Jordan andTeam Kafentzis.

The score does not reflect the actual score. Much more one sided. Total team domination by Brighton.

You need to understand one one thing. This is Team Kafentzis. There is no RB, WR, TE, or another's on Jordan's team. Don't be a Hater. Join Team Kafentzis. Record season in 2014.

Isn't it ironic how giving Moss the ball more equals an overall win? Unfortunately, Jordan's whole season was based on building ONE person's stats.... How on earth does a QB have more carries than a RB. You did awesome this year number 5! Too bad you had coaches that didn't allow you to run the ball more....

Feel bad for JDigger24 this morning, but figures there would be crickets after that beat down. Just please be quiet about Bingham and what you think they need to do to beat Brighton this week which they will do.

What a fantastic game, sorry Bengal haters you're gonna have to wait another year. I know these young men and they're no different than the kids we watch in our favorite football movies. The core of this group has been at it together since they were 8 yr old Gremlin players. They have a dream, it's an old dream and they have one more week of work and brotherhood to realize that dream. GO BENGAL PRIDE WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!
Hated seeing those Digger injuries, I hope they heal quickly, props to the Miners, they've earned the #1 spot. For now...

Jordan gave up at least 27 points in 10 games this year. How is that even possible? I just read that somewhere, then again I guess they did lose 6 games this year.

Once again the old adage holds true. Offense is fun to watch, but defense wins championships. Hey Digger, Jordan played exactly like you said they've played at RES the past 4 years. Should be a good match up next week. Bingham vs Brighton. Go Miners!

Brighton only won today because Clay Moss, Cooper Clark, and Mason Krueger went out with injuries today. None the less congrats to Brighton who showed why they are a legit team in 5A this year; Osa Masina is an absolute beast! he ran over defenders abd pushed them aside like it was nothing. Very very impressed with him today. Their O-line too. Jordan didn't get pressure on the qb all day. Anyways, congrats to Brighton, and I hope they take out Bingham haha

Great game for Brighton today- they really came to play and their Offensive and Defensive lines certainly were the difference. Jordan's O-line looked like they were in panic mode the whole game which made things much to hard for Kafentzis. Hopefully Austin has more than one receiver to throw to next season and has some blockers up front. And their defensive backs... oh boy. The Brighton players showed a lot of class when some of the Jordan players got hurt- helping them up and what-not. Congrats to them, they deserve to be where they are.

That last series about summarizes Jordan's defense this year. How on earth do you allow a team to drive the length of the field in 40 seconds like that without using a timeout? That is embarrassing!

I still think Jordan comes back and win this game.
