"BYU is 1 of 4 against BCS automatic qualifier conference teams (generally referred to as BCS)they lost to Virginia, beat Texas, lost to Utah, and lost to Wisconsin."

Sorry, but you need to work on those math skills.

BYU versus BCS AQ conference teams

    Wins:
    Texas (Big 12)
    Ga Tech (ACC)
Houston (AAC - old Big East without the basketball schools)

    Losses:
    Virginia (ACC)
    Utah (Pac 12)
    Wisconsin (B1G)

If Utah fans don't want to count Houston as a BCS team, then they need to stop counting all of Utah's wins versus Big East teams as BCS wins, because Houston is in the exact same conference.

It's funny how Utah's wins over Pittsburgh (Big East) in 2010 and 2011 counted as BCS wins, but BYU's win versus Houston (old Big East) in 2013 doesn't count.

Without his four Big East wins, Kyle is 17-21 versus BCS teams.

Actually silent lurker Utah is 1-6 against BCS level comp while BYU is 3-3. I always enjoy university of Utah math though. LOL!

"Where are the 2 other BCS level teams they have a win against?"

Georgia Tech and Houston. Yes, Houston is technically in an AQ conference this year. And Boise St. may not be having a stellar season, but it's hardly a knock against BYU to have played and crushed them.

Did someone forget Georgia Tech and Boise State? Anyway, where is the usual CB with her prediction? U nation has to be mourning another home for the holidays season. It's too bad the program is struggling just to make 6 wins. The program is playing better teams by virtue of the pac12 not because they choose to schedule you like Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Texas. 28-0 by the end of q1 today...I wish i could be more positive toward the U.

BYU is 1 of 4 against BCS automatic qualifier conference teams (generally referred to as BCS)they lost to Virginia, beat Texas, lost to Utah, and lost to Wisconsin. Where are the the 2 other BCS level teams they have a win against? Mid majors and below at best! Are you really trying to compare strength of schedule? BYU is a mid major playing a mid major schedule. So far they have only one quality win. Some people would not even call Texas a quality win this year.

    @CincyRed13

I know all cougars would rather play gimme games against the Idaho States of the world. That's what you call successful? Why don't you man up and admit there is a world of difference between Utah and BYU schedules. Let's see three in a row and nine of the the last twelve head to head and you are successful?

"It true that the Utes may loose [sic] big today but they are playing a top ten program, while your Cougs are playing a bottom ten program."

It's hilarious how Utah fans completely ignored such details back on September 7th when BYU was destroying a top fifteen program, while your utes were playing an even worse bottom ten program.

BYU is 6-3 versus FBS programs; Utah is 3-5.
BYU is 3-3 versus BCS opponents; Utah is 1-5.

Take off your crimson-colored goggles once in awhile and it will help you see reality better.

    Silent Lurker,

I totally agree with you. The two programs are headed in opposite directions. The Utes are heading towards being a perennially doormat while the Cougs are heading towards another successful season. I'm hoping the Utes win out including today's game against Oregon so the Y's loss to Utah doesn't look so bad. Go Utes and Cougs!!

The Utes are lucky they're not 1-8 at this point in the season - all three of their FBS wins were decided by a touchdown or less and the Utes could have easily lost all three.

Utah was a 26-point dog at Oregon before Wilson's status was announced; without Travis, the Utes will be an even bigger underdog.

The silence from the hill is deafening as the Utes prepare to face their biggest challenge of the season.

@Utebuster It true that the Utes may loose big today but they are playing a top ten program, while your cougs are playing a bottom ten program. This kinda tells the direction each program is heading in. Your cougs have lost to three of the four BCS level programs they have played including Utah at their home.

    Ufan,
NOT HAPPENING. SORRY BUDDY. Oregon will lay 63 points on the utes and the utes will lay 3 points on the Ducks. Even the coaches are already making excuses.

Yes let's hope it is within 20 points if Oregon wins by more than 30 Chris has promised to become a byu fan for life based on his post on another article about the game

Here's hoping the Utes can at least keep things respectable, say within 20 points of Oregon.
