Really???

I find the media to be pretty balanced on the "liberal" and "conservative" slant. The problem with a lot of us, however, is that we only see what we want to see. We believe our media spokespeople, however, when they complain about the opposing viewpoint. Let's get some balance in our lives, people. It's time we see the extremes on both sides for what they are, leave them behind, and come to the middle to solve our problems.

First of all Mia, you owe Lee Benson and apology and the rest of us an explanation about your backstory.
If a candidate can't get that right I am unwilling to listen to anything else he/she has to say.
Political shape-shifting is the easiest way to run, but the Internet has a looooong memory.
But as we've learned from the Obama experience, identity politics covers a multitude of sins.

Talk about distancing themselves, check out the Dems running away from The Big Lie. Sen. Cruz and Sen Lee nailed it by calling for repeal, defund, delay now it is the top of the list of all their critics. I say impeach the liar and repeal the law.

Quit drinking the Koolaid, and believing what the Left Leaning Media Folks write, or say in their broadcasts. If you think the Tea Party are extremists, what are the Occupy Wallstreet folks? Mainstream? All Tea Party Members want is to follow, honor, and sustain the Constitution. This Govt Shutdown was done by Obama and Reid. The house passed several budgets. It was Reid and veto threats by Obama that failed to do anything. It has been 5 years since a budget was done. That isn't Tea Party fault. What was asked for, is being asked now by even fellow Democrats. Postpone it till next year, that everyone should have to live by it, or defund it. And the majority of Americans support ntohaving to use it. You also need to quit asking Orin Hatch Plants about their feelings. He is a RINO to, who has been in office too long to see the difference. Remember when he ran for the first time, how he campaigned against an incumbant who had been in too long? He has to.

Senator Lee ruined tea party. Did he do it intentionally?

Isn't Mia Love denying the Tea Party like Thomas Monson denying he is a Mormon???

You can't have it both ways Mia.

Man up Mia. Carry that rattlesnake banner with pride.

You know the whole problem has been attacking the Affordable Care Act....not focusing on how can we deliver medical services to our citizens in a more cost effective manner. Had the attention been on the latter, the ACA probably would have been a footnote in the history books already.

But this hasn't been about fixing issues. This has been all about scoring political points. If republicans can actually improve the system by replacing parts or all of the ACA, they have my full and total support. But so long as this is about scoring "political" points, the strategy will continue to fail because it is grounded on a false narrative.

If Mia is truly about being about doing something positive.... it is worth listening to the ideas she has. If she is more about sound bites and being on FoxNews...she deserves a collective pass.

So would she have had Lee roll over and play dead when he could clearly see what a "train wreck" was coming down the track. Thank goodness for Lee and Cruz who sounded the warning cry. When one sees a catastrophe, it is incumbent on him to sound the alarm. The Tea Party has been sounding the alarm for years and the media has cast them in the light of "extremist" We need these kind of leaders to get us out of the mess we are in.

She is moving away from the Tea Party label because she wants to fully embrace her Anchor Baby label.

Wonder why the article left out that she has hired Hatch's campaign guy? By trying to play both ends against the middle, Mia Love just insured Mathason's re-election.

What a waste of money this campaign will be for her.
Matheson, on his WORST day, is better qualified, more in tune with reality, and overall a much better candidate.
But she has to learn for herself.
And comparing Obamacare to slavery was really a teaparty-esque move.
See ya, Mia!

Wow, Why did you show up at the rally for Mike Lee? That was a thank you to Mike Lee for standing up against Obama care. Now you say you didn't agree with that? I wanted you to win against Matheson and thought you would be another Mike Lee. Now I guess you are just another politician. Because the media has portrayed the tea party as extreme and weird you want to run away from it. The tea party is just the average American that doesn't want our country piled in debt. That is how it started by telling Republicans and Democrats to get the spending under control. Why is that bad? You are no different from Matheson. I'm so disappointed.

I think if you really want to understand the Tea Party efforts, you have to stop listening to the "Parrots" and search it out for yourself. At least you know what Mike Lee and Ted Cruz stand for and will do to try to protect our nation from those who seek to destroy it with their double-talk and don't-rock-the-boat mentality.

T-Party candidates are the reason the Republicans won the House in '10 and '12 in the first place. If Mia Love can't beat Matheson this time we need a new candidate.

There isn't balance between Liberal and Conservative. Moderates can't define themselves and don't know what they stand for. Liberals are Pro choice ONLY when it comes to murdering babies. When it comes to choice with anything else they are against it if you don't agree with them.

Matheson voted to fund Obamacare. We will see how you guys feel when that goes straight to heck, lol.

I agree with her desire to not be "labelled". She already starts off as person with 2 labels..."black" AND "conservative". And as long as she upholds the Constitution, is for government that lives within it's means, as well as within the divinely inspired Constitutional limits, then she will continue to have my support. But if she starts paling around with the likes of Orrin Hatch or John McCain, then all bets are off.

Sorry, Mia, but YOU labeled yourself ... and you did it, without educating yourself as to our political system.

March 2012, as quoted in the right-wing Daily caller:
“I hope I’m a tea party candidate. I hope I’m everybody’s candidate. The tea party has done a lot of good for the country. And so I consider myself everyone’s candidate — my methods of fiscal discipline and limited government, I hope fits everybody,” she said.

You, a candidate so uninformed that you didn't even know what "insider trading" was? Things like "insider trading" are not what you learn from your heroes (Glenn Beck, Palin, Limbaugh, Hannity) who denigrate true journalism as the "mainstream media".

You want to abolish the student loan system, yet you had unpaid student loans between $15K-$50K for a degree in "singing and dancing"? Really? Have you paid them off yet?

I think Mia is qualified to sing the National Anthem at the next Republican convention. Maybe she can go on tour?

Love the tea party. I wish Mike has been more successful.

Our Government it too big.
Our Government is too controlling.
Our Government spends more money than it takes in.
Our Government has chosen to do things that are not constitutionally mandated.

These are facts and we need to either change it or dump the tea in the harbor.

The real problem with Obamacare is not the health care issues, it is the strings attached that remove our freedoms.

Anyone who compromises with evil becomes evil to the extent they cross the line of compromise. That is the problem with all of our current politics. Evil has been slowly and steadily encroaching because of the compromises made by good people who want to help our country. Evil takes advantage of the naivety of those who try to compromise.
