    Olympus cove fax, eelek, et al:

    Cupcake wins over the course of Bishop Mendenhall's Perfection Qwests are not comparable to the down to the wire losses that the Utes have suffered, against superior competition and talent.

    Keep spinning, though. After revealing games at Wisconsin and ND, the Idaho State jv practice game will get you guys stoked for 2014 National Championship aspirations yet again...!

    Go Utes

    Isn't it funny those who claim to be enjoying BCS prestige just keep trying to convince themselves that they are by hanging on to the coat tails of conference affiliation?

    Winning less and less conference games each season is a strange way of enjoyment.

    I'm not convinced and your fear is that others are leaning to my way of thinking!

    LOL!!!

    Isn't it funny that those who aren't enjoying BCS prestige and who follow teams that can't beat their rivals have to come jump on the bandwagon of other Pac 12 teams that can beat Utah?

    LOL!

    "8-0 or 7-1 was definitely within their grasp. Detractors droning on about being doormats, seemingly did not actually watch the games."

    Keep in mind that Utah could easily be 1-7 or 2-6 right now. Utah's wins have all been winnable by their opponent.

    "what shouldn't be overlooked is the fact that despite 15 turnovers in 4 PAC-12 games, the Utes had legitimate chances to win every game except for the SC no-show"

    Funny how quickly Utah fans dismiss the fact that the exact same thing could be said about 14 of the last 17 BYU-Utah games that Utah fans are constantly claiming prove Utah's "dominance" over BYU.

    14-3 was definitely within BYU's grasp. Detractors droning on about BYU being "dominated," seemingly did not actually watch the games.

    @morpunkt:

    You are right about playing blue chip athletes each week. But what shouldn't be overlooked is the fact that despite 15 turnovers in 4 PAC-12 games, the Utes had legitimate chances to win every game except for the SC no-show.

    8-0 or 7-1 was definitely within their grasp. Detractors droning on about being doormats, seemingly did not actually watch the games.

    The only good news for the Utes these days is the no one is seeing any of there horrific losses because they play on the Pac 12 network that half of us can't watch anyways!!

    The "telling tale" for the Utes is playing in a conference that has blue chip athletes in your face, on a weekly basis.
