@forgetyourselfI can even see a scenario where if the Jazz start sensing
that Hayward won't resign, or will only resign at a price the Jazz
don't want to pay they could trade Hayward for Rondo. If Hayward is just
going to walk at the end of the year we end up with nothing but this way we
bring in a great player. I think Boston is the most likely destination for
Hayward if he doesn't sign with the Jazz because he would be reunited with
his old coach. However, I think job 1 is to see if Burke can be a legitimate
starting point guard and unfortunately that has been delayed because of the
injury. Also, it would pay to wait and see if Rondo fully recovers and comes
back able to play at 100%. I really think the weakness at point guard right now
is the weak link in the chain for the Jazz.
Just a thought what if the Jazz use the picks they have for the future and offer
it to Boston for Rajon Rondo? I think he would fit nicely into the system as a
pass first PG and Boston looking to rebuild and the Jazz further along then they
Start Tinsley/Lucas= lose the game..
