Wow I couldn't be more surprised with this game. I thought Orem was finally peaking. What a disappointing season for Orem. They had some good talent and certainly underachieved finishing below .500. From what I've observed the past few seasons when I've been able to see Orem, they need to develop greater balance on offense. They rely way too much on the deep ball and the big play. A short passing game with a running game doesn't seem to be in their playbook some games. Maybe some Orem fans that consistently see their games can correct or confirm what I've seen. On the other hand, what a job done by the Salem Hills players and coaching staff. Regardless of their weak schedule, to do what they have done especially without their starting qb the last several games is an accomplishment.

All year long the coaches were inconsistent with their play calling and what a shame with all the talent they had! ZERO adjustments made all year long and Salem came into this game well prepared and smacked Orem in the mouth which they couldn't recover from. Orem was out coached and its a shame because there was talent all the way around on this team.
