The range of enrollment in 3A is just too wide. Of course there are 3 southern utah teams in the semis. Obviously they're very good but they have literally twice the students as a North Sanpete or Juab. The St.George schools played in 4A for many years and every year a St. George school won the volleyball state title. Why are they in 3A again? They keep changing the numbers up so as to keep southern schools in 3A because the big Wasatch Front schools don't want to travel that far to play. It's fun to play in 3A where it's more competitive but it's hard to compete with schools double your size.
