Why is everyone bring up on this CB? I don't see any comments from him or
did someone put in a buffer in my computer?Well, brandon did go east
but not in Euro. Good for him and hope you will get a chance to play more. Who
knows, Jimmer night come to town because he too is smart! Well, I like to see
Jimmer in Jazz.
nice. good for him. i went to undergrad at BYU and grad school at the U. I
worked in Boise for four years. I love to see kids succeed. good job.
Good for him. But the 76ers are projected to be the worst team in the NBA.
Davies isn't going to change that.
@ Chris BChris you have zero credibility, give it a rest.
"I think most people who know anything about basketball saw this coming.
Davies is an ok ball player, just not NBA material. He'll do just fine in
Europe, and who knows, he very likely could end up playing alongside Jimmer
rather shortly.Good luck Davies in Europe, or wherever you can
land."All the above rant blah blah blah a month ago from chrissy
bb.Chrissy - Two things:1 - Your football team is a
bottom dweller.2 - Your basketball team is a bottom dweller.Nuff said.PS - The BYU Men's Volleyball team is more exciting
than anything on the hill.
Congratulations Brandon! When the Clippers waived Brandon I was among
many who posted he would likely get picked up by another NBA team based on his
past accomplishments and current skill set.Someone else was
literally the first (as always) to proclaim that anyone who really knows
basketball knew Brandon wouldn't make or stick with a team in the NBA.I have a proposal. Each time this prognosticator is wrong, he/she
refrain from posting anything on that particular topic until/unless his/her next
"mark it down" foreseeing comes to pass. What say ye?These
boards would be much more enjoyable and less off-topic or divisive. As always...GO COUGARS!
I have to say, that is an impressive leap. Davies had a VERY nice season, but
disappeared sometimes, and never seemed to really take over games. I didn't
think he'd make the NBA, but his hard work has certainly paid off. In the
NBA though, maybe that is what they need to round out some teams...somebody who
can play smart, well, and not need to dominate the ball. I still do wonder what
might have been - with Davies, I think BYU makes its first Final Four two years
ago. Alas, we'll never know.
As with most 15th men on an NBA roster, Davies will likely spend most of his
time in street clothes behind the bench, or in the D league. That said,
he's still signed to the NBA minimum and is living the dream. Good luck to
him. Hope he does well.
Way to go Brandon. You're one reason BYU continuously rate as state

remnants of the Majerus era left the program almost a decade ago.
Really glad for Davies. A good program. Glad he will get another opportunity.
@ Chris B.When you are referring to "playing" how does Bogut
fit into that definition. He "played" 32 games last season, was pulled
after 2 minutes in a game in China due to his achy back acting up again and of
course you know his injury history prior to that. Crystal Bogut
isn't exactly an Ironman.
Chris B, why so negative. Put yourself in the shoes of Brandon or his family.
Congrats are in order for him. From the article it sounds like he works very
hard and does not give up. How in the world does that solicit a negative
response.Chris, get help while you can. Life has so much good to
offer if you will seek for and be positive. If something in your past has made
you bitter, find out what it was and let it go.
Article is about Davies... Not Jimmer, Bogut or Miller. Enough with the Utah/Byu
comparisons. It's old and tired.
Man, I was hoping that everyone would ignore Chris B's negative comments.
I liked the direction this was headed, everyone ignoring and just congratulating
Davies on a great honor. Still, he got the attention he wanted.
@Chris B.Just for your information:There used to be a
Philadelphia in Jordan. There is a village of Philadelphia in Germany but
it's gone now. There used to be a village of Philadelphia in Turkey
but it's now called Alasehir. There is a village of Philadelphia, Tyne
and Wear, in England but they don't have a basketball team. And there
is a Philadelphia in Indiana, Tennessee, New York and Mississippi but they
aren't in New York.So When you say Davies will be playing in Europe
you didn't mean Philadelphia, Penn. did you?
I would be an advocate for BYU fans completely ignoring obsessed trolls.
It's probably the one thing that will frustrate them the most and get rid
of them the fastest. While I realize it can be difficult at times, let's
all try to hold to it. Thanks
Congratulations Brandon!!!I was a huge fan of Brandon when he was at
BYU and dreaded watching him when they played Utah. He was a tough player to
stop and has tons of potential as an NBA power forward. Looking forward to
watching and seeing what you can do in Philadelphia. Best of luck!
We are the most awesome team than any and our record these past five years
proves it. Why? because we have two nba players.Go Utes!
Chris B.And what could be a new prediction for basketplayers from
the Y that I could "Mark Down" for now. Since there's not much to
mark down in the football arena. Go Brandon.
Hilarious. Another Ute football season swirling down the drain so chrissy is
jumping ship in favor of the other marquee program on the hill to give us all
laughs. Good job Chris B! Nice to see you recover so quickly from the USC
prognostication debacle.Let us guess, Final Four or bust for your
team again this year?
Good job Brandon. We are all (at least all of us, less one) pulling for you!
Great news.Congratulations.Brandon might not be in the
top rotation but he certainly is good enough to fill at least the 15th spot or
better on most NBA teams.Hard work... producing when has the chance
as well as a little luck should keep him in the NBA for a nice career.
Keep working hard Brandon! Nice job!
Good Luck Brandon. Impressive young man.
Good for Brandon! We were all hoping he'd land a contract somewhere. Now
we hope he can get some minutes and prove he belongs on the court. Such a hard
worker with a willingness to improve.
Congrats to Brandon. I'm anxious to follow your progress in the NBA.
It'll be fun watching Brandon in a 76ers uni.
Congratulations Brandon! Good luck in Philly!
Congrats to Davies.Living his NBA dream. And from what it sounds like
several teams were trying to aquire him.
