It will be hilarious to read your comments next season when you don't have a BYU win to hang your hat on. Fact is you can win 10 in a row over your rival, but that won't make you any less of a joke or any more relevant in the PAC-12. If a completely depleted USC team can take your Utes to the woodshed with it's 3rd stringers playing & less than 48 uninjured scholarship athletes , what hope do you have to compete with the upper half of the conference? I will give credit for your win vs Stanford, but if that game was on the road the Utes would have been dismantled.

Utah's lone remaining win will be Colorado.

The saddest part about this whole line of comments is that Utah fans are the first to bring BYU into the conversation. Is that really necessary? No one was defending themselves against a BYU poster but you anticipated it and brought them in all on your own.
I'd love to see both BYU and Utah be successful with their respective schedules. BYU fans should want Utah to do well to make their loss to them not look so bad-- thanks for the Stanford win, it helps. Utah fans should want BYU to win so their win looks even better-- you're welcome.
Some Ute fans have been calling for Wilson's head. He's got great potential and just needs to get his hand healed. Maybe this bye week will do the trick. For me, the biggest problem is that the coaching staff didn't learn their lesson with the Wynn/Hayes fiasco and bring in a JC transfer or otherwise ready to go backup. If Shultz can't do it, who can? Every D-1 team has to be prepared for injuries.

Personally, I would rather play in the PAC 12, against the best and the chips fall where they may. Then to be a nomad, with no conference affiliation, no chance of playing in differen't bowl games, and no chance of beating my rival. What's it like to know if you win 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 games, against an average schedule, you still end up in the same bowl?

Chris....be happy with your prestige....cause that is all you got.

The sad thing is....your Utes couldn't beat my Trojans...even with only 52 scholarship players available for the Saturdays game.....

Hey at least you can depend on the PAC-10 schools building new weight rooms, practice facilities, and academic buildings for you!

GO Trojans!

Chris,

It's time to face the facts. Utah is irrelevant this year and will be lucky to win one more game. Utah was the better team in September but that's not what matters. What does matter is how you finish. The reason Utah isn't winning any of their games right now is due to a lack of offense. BYU would beat Arizona, USC, Washington State, Colorado, and Washington. They would lose to Oregon, Stanford, and UCLA. Oregon State and Arizona State would be a toss up.

Using Chris B logic Eastern Washington would dominate the u. They Beat Oregon st. Who inturn beat the u.

Stanford looks at the loss at Utah and shakes its collective head just like BYU looks at its loss at Virginia.

The losses will continue to mount up. Utah doesn't go bowling anymore.

Well I'ld take going to a bowl even if its the same one, still get paid rather then staying home.

Actully, it's Spokane Ute. No need to play the name game, especially with your screen name. The pay out is so small, it barely covers the traveling cost. Utah get's more when the PAC 12 cuts up the Bowl pay out pie, then BYU gets for going on it's own. That is one of the dis-advantages that BYU has as an independent. That, and being pigeon holed in to the same type of bowl every year. Make no mistake though, At this point, I would settle for any bowl; and If Utah continues to play like it has the last two weeks? There will be no bowl for Utah. The offense looks pathetic!

I'm sure you are going to continue to toe the company line on this and keep saying you'd rather be in the pac12 and a constant loser, than in the mtn west and be a winner. I think you might even believe it at this point. I'm not so sure you'll continue to feel that way with time.

utah is going to have a good pac12 season some year, it will happen, who knows when it will be but someday it will happen. But for the forseeable future it will not and just trying to get to 6 wins is going to be utah's yearly struggle.

I'm of the opinion that a large number of utah "fans" will fade away over the next several years as reality hits them and they realize this sort of season is the norm, not the exception. The good year will be the exception.

That said the one company line you need to drop is the one about utah getting more money no matter how they do. So what? Who cares? None of us gets that money, we only care about wins and losses.

I love it! Beeting really good bad teams has kept us really good.

@Spokaneutesie
ah you've never read a Terry Brooks novel have you? then you'ld understand my user name, but who cares? you played the name game first, So now you can hang your hat on the season by the money you get from bowl pay outs "other" teams go to? well guess you have to root for someone on New years day when your team is sitting home.

Can the utes beat Washington State, and Colorado?

There's the success of this season.

Quack.........Did some one say something?

@christina

Why do you post the same exact things over and over again? Are you that proud of what you have to say the you post it countless times?

What I think is hilarious is that the 2013 ute seniors will probably go bowless and have a losing record for the second straight time.

LOL!

I heard Utah is going bowling. They have been invited to Miracle Bowl bowling alley in West Valley. That should be a nice place to enjoy they holidays.

That Duckhunter guy hit the nail on the head when he talked about the "fans". When they keep being the pac12 doormat year after year, the "prestige" (lol at that term) will wear off and the kids wearing utah gear will start being ridiculed once again. The local DI will fill up with ute gear once again. The die hard true fans will remember the good old days in the MWC when Utah could make a decent run once every few years. Now what do they have to look forward to? You can't get the games on tv unless you have the obscure pac12 channel which not many do. Are they ever going to have a game on ESPN now that they quit playing BYU?

It is a fine mess they have gotten themselves into.

Maybe so, but if BYU falters down the stretch I won't rub it in. That's the difference between me and you. I don't troll BYU threads, nor rank on them over, and over again. There's a term for that, which I will leave to your imagination. I try to keep my comments constructive when I do comment on BYU; though at times I have strayed. Have a good evening. Also, don't recall playing any name games but what ever floats your boat.

Just imagine how big of a blow this game was to the utah recruiting in So Cal. Bad. It won't be any better after the ASU game.
