I was just thinking about Hays. Great guy who really carried the team a long ways. I'm glad he's getting a chance to coach.

Hays was a stud, and he played with some serious heart. He wasn't the most talented QB ever, not by a long shot, but he played with 100% heart and toughness. I as well will never forget that Sun Bowl victory, that was one exciting game, good thing he threw that pick 6 to make the game all the more dramatic.

Hays was also a very smart player, its his ability that got him in trouble. Ive always thought that he could be a very good QB coach, glad to see that he is one, he could be very successful.

    Go Utes!

Sun Bowl win was very entertaining. Appreciated Jon Hays playing his gut out for the Utes.
Hopefully Schulz will step up if called upon; hopefully Wilson will be back to 100% sooner rather than later.

I love Jon Hayes, he was a solid player for us and gave us some good times. I'll never forget that Sun Bowl win, i was sitting about 20 yards away from that perfect fade to Devonte Christopher to tie the game up. it was amazing!

I'm one of the few Coug fans that has been saying all year that the Utes will make a bowl game, and it is easy now as they only need two more wins. WSU and CU could fit those slots nicely. Utah doesn't have a good chance against Oregon, but I also predicted a loss against Stanford, so who knows.

Just get your two wins and get your invite to the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl so our seniors can get their revenge.
