USC is #1 defense in the pac and utah struggles on offense. Not a good
combination. Go USC.Mark this down - USC 34-utes 17
The change under Orgeron has been a change in attitude. He's brought the
intangibles and swagger that they were missing under Kiffin. It's gonna be
a tough game for the Utes.
Here's one Cougar fan that hopes the Utes will pull out and upset over the
Trojans! I know some of my fellow Cougar fans may think I'm crazy for
rooting for the Utes but I honestly don't mind. I'm not a Ute hater.
They're a great team and I love Coach Whit too. I just don't like it
when we loose to them, or the Aggies for that matter. After that, I root hard
for all 3 teams to be wildly successful the rest of their schedules.Go Cougars! Go Utes! Go Aggies!
We will win usc by 33 because we are the best team in the state and we won weber
and stanford.Utes 49Usc 7Go write it down!
@DownUnder,USC also has a terrible offense and Utah's defense
is quite good. And USC also has had several injuries to starters in
the last 2 weeks, including again to Marquis Lee. That is a big help to Utah
this week.I think King Phillips kicks it for the win.Utah 27USC 24And yes, you can mark that down.
I think that the utes have a really good shot (especially if Wilson plays), but
I think it will be almost all DUtah 13 USC 10
Oh. You poor Ute fans. This one isn't going to look pretty.
Excited for this game! Go Utes!
It will likely be a low scoring game. Probably will come down to a field goal.
Utes will win if their kicker is back to normal again. If USC wins I
certainly won't lose any sleep over it.
A pivotal game for both teams. Utah needs to avoid turn overs, the pick 6 last
week was very costly. Why do people use the term "mark it down" on these
threads? Why in the world would anyone bother? What a silly, silly statement.
Utah's record in pac 12 since joining the conference is: 8-14 .363Doesn't bode well for the utes this week. USC defense is # 1 in the pac.
Utah's defense is good, but not as good as USC's. I look for a
fairly close game, but usc comes out on top. Go ahead and mark it down if
Another Ute article that brings out the pro-BYU, Ute-haters. You guys should be
worried about your own game. Even with a backup quarterback, Boise State will
still present a challenge. Although I will say this, your team has
been fortunate to keep playing teams who don't have their regular
@go redPlaying BYU often results in having to play the second string
QB because the Cougar defense get to the first one too often. I think that is
what happened to the Ute's Travis Wilson. His finger got banged up playing
the Cougars and he has been a different QB ever since. Its a factor in all
Wilson's interceptions. If he can't grip the football, he can't
throw effectively. Wilson still is the QB that the Utes believe give them the
best shot at taking down USC. Good luck to the Utes. USC is a
legit defense and hard for anyone save Arizona State to score on. Get that win
and closer to bowl eligibility.
Chris BUtah arrogance is unshakable. Living vicariously on the
success of the top of the conference has kept Utah, Colorado, Washington St.,
etc. fans off window ledges for the past three years.
The Utes will play with a huge chip on their shoulder in this one. Plus, who
doesn't enjoy playing in the Coliseum for a conference showdown?Go Utes!
Will be interesting to see which Ute team shows up for this game. The team that
took the field in Tucson last week won't have much of a chance for a win.
The team that showed up for UCLA and Stanford has a realistic shot.

happens to Utah besides beating us on the field? Apparently
BYU's defense is so good that it caused Wilson to 3 interceptions the week
before playing them. Wilson's interceptions per game:Utah
State 0Oregon State 3@BYU 0ULCA 6Stanford 0@Arizona 2As far as USC, again it comes down to turnovers. If
Utah wins the turnover margin we have a great chance to win: Utah 28 USC 26
@ Steven S JarvisWilson got banged up during the Stanford game. The
BYU game had zero impact on his health.
The cool thing about the PAC 12 is that most every game is a big game. The
conference is 30-6 in non conference games, Utah vs USC sounds more exciting
then Utah vs New MexicoGO UTES!
@2ferIt has been reported that wilson's injury originally
occured in the BYU game and it has affected him ever since. Now I take no joy in
seeing anyone get injured but BYU does get to qb's and knock them around it
seems. We can name several of them over the last few years. It appears you are
wrong.I think utah has a chance in this game but of course
christina's over the top proclamations are as deluded as ever.
It's already been said but Utah can't turn the ball over in this game
and win. That's why I think Shulttz and a conservative offensive game plan
can keep Utah in this game because USC has injuries and doesn't look real
formidable on offense. Let Utah's defense win this one...I'm afraid if
Wilson hasn't fully recovered it could lead to more TOs and that
doesn't bode well. If I it's a defensive battle with few mistakes and
TOs than Utah wins...if it turns into a TO fest and big plays then USC wins.
Good luck Utes.
