As a co-captain Haws will have a stronger presence on the floor and will strengthen the players outside of practices. Teamwork makes good teams great, and Haws is a fantastic team player always looking to improve the team by improving its players.

His work with Collingsworth will make that mission transformation faster and get him back to basketball speed, strength and shooting. He will also make Eric Mika's freshman year a great start.

Looking forward to a strong team with a WCC championship run and a return to the DANCE.

GOOOOOOOOOO Cougars!!!

I can't wait for the season to start! Looking forward to some exciting things from the Cougars this year. Hope they run the table in the WCC, win the conference and make it to the dance. Having BYUtv is the best. I get to watch most of all BYU games when they're not on any of the ESPN sports network. Women's volleyball and soccer are doing really great this year too! I love it!

Go Cougars!

Haws is a class act! Haws, Carlino and Collinsworth may be the best 1, 2 and 3 in the West. Even though we'll lose a little with Davies graduated, this team will be better overall than last years. And to think - there's not a Senior on the team. The future is bright with BYU basketball.

What a pose Haws puts on here. Has GQ come calling yet? Love it.

I wonder how much better Haws got with his offseason experiences.

I just looked at BYU basketball schedule 10 games on ESPN 14 on BYUTV, 2 Pac 12 Network 1 on CBS sports.
Hopefully it is like last year and BYUTv does conference road games.
I think it is pretty cool to be able to watch that many games (even though I can't get the pac-12 network)

Tyler Haws is important to Y fans and the 2013-14 Season. It seemed that last year roughing him up was an effective defense for the other team to employ, as it cut down on his scoring and confidence. That is the area where I hope he will improve this year, and perhaps where he gained insight. He needs to get stronger physically, and mentally, and become more of a team player. That said, I'm happy he is on the team, and wish them all to have a super season. Will the Cougars ever get into the Final Four?
