You can look at Tyrone Corbin as Clint Eastwood in "Heartbreak Ridge". Boot camp and live firing counted as much as these exhibition games. When it came time to invade Grenada, they were ready. Last time I heard, exhibition games don't count. It looks like Corbin can coach young players. They listen. The vets looked at Corbin like they just arrived at boot camp and knew everything. Again, these games don't count and probably this season doesn't count. It's one brick at a time and one day at a time. Congratulations to Derrick for his 4 year extension. He must like Salt Lake. As an engineering student from "Wrambling Wreck" (Georgia Tech), he is building something interesting. The glass continues to be half full.
