Nonsense!

Basing an article on the ludicrous assertions from two very biased sources does not make it true, or worthy of repeating.

"Women Are the Only Adults Left in Washington," trumpeted a Time magazine article, while New York Times coverage ran under the headline, "Senate Women Lead in Effort to Find Accord."

Gender had nothing to do with it. This was a timid move to surrender to special interests by politicians unwilling or unable to face the reality that we are broke, Obamacare is unsustainable, and funding all other government operations would be good for the country. So, these names females, and like minded males took the easy course and voted for a massive spending scheme.

Worse, they even paid federal workers who had not worked for their time off. Only a politician can think that makes sense, or that we can afford it.

Kudos to the women of the Senate. They did their job, and worked for the good of the country and its people, while the people like Mike Lee, Ted Cru, et al., ran around throwing tantrums, costing the country $24 billion, and hurting a lot of people. In this case, the "men for the job" were the women. We need more like them.
