I just learned Kyle Kuzma opted to forego his final year of prep school
eligibility and is now enrolled at the U (how does the DN NOT report on this??).
The plan is to redshirt him this year, although I believe he has no NCAA
eligibility issues. I say why not play him? Even if he takes a little time to
adjust to college life and learn Larry's and Tommy Connor's system,
the non-conference schedule is extremely light, and the team could use another
long body with serious ball skills. I wouldn't think he'd have any
problem being in playing shape and in sync, as well as adjusted to the balance
of practice and class schedules by January. Just my thoughts on it.
I think Utah will be pretty good this year. They have a great opportunity to
build confidence at home before they head out on the road.I think they
will be from 6th to 9th in the Pac.We will see though.
Reports are that Coach K stopped three pickpockets, two muggings and a case of
tax evasion. The Crime Stopper rises again.
