My children live all over the world and it is hard for us to all keep in touch and hard to remember who is up to date on current events in the family. When my husband was diagnosed with Leukemia in September my daughter set up an email group for us on 'WhatsApp' I can send a message and pictures to everyone, in real time, and they can respond immediately. It has made our world a lot smaller and brought everyone much closer as we band together to help our husband and father battle for his life.

My brother and I have lived many states apart for 40 years and although I have kept up with him over the years through phone calls (very few as neither of us had the money for long distance calls) it wasn't until we joined FaceBook that we really connected again. I have gotten to know who he has become and gotten to really know his children. Technology has some bad things about it, but it has really brought our family back together.
