    Was this passed out of the legislature as a message bill? It seems to have little against free speech.

    So this law makes it illegal to record criminals committing a crime to use against said criminals, got it.
    ...and you can't record the police, but they can record you, got it.

    Business and Authorities protected, people well your not qualified.

    Utah is fighting against information and transparency in order to facilitate potential mistreatment of animals; the perceived fear is that the more people know where their dinner comes from and the poor conditions/treatment animals receive, the less likely we will be to consume those products. Utah is proactively aiding the abuse of innocent creatures in the name of short-term profits, which makes it a co-conspirator in the act. Indeed, the state has lost it's moral compass.
