Utah is fighting against information and transparency in order to facilitate potential mistreatment of animals; the perceived fear is that the more people know where their dinner comes from and the poor conditions/treatment animals receive, the less likely we will be to consume those products. Utah is proactively aiding the abuse of innocent creatures in the name of short-term profits, which makes it a co-conspirator in the act. Indeed, the state has lost it's moral compass.
