Nice article. It is hard to appreciate how damaging emotionally being
unemployed/underemployed can be. In Utah we have it relatively good because our
state is run very efficiently. Still, as an employer, it is frustrating to see
how government regulations like the aptly misnamed Affordable Care Act can make
it harder to hire people, only prolonging the suffering.
I think about all the jobs that COULD be were it not for the road blocks the
democrats create. I think about the Keystone pipeline for example and all the
similar energy type jobs - high paying - and plentiful ...were it not for a
stubborn demagogue in the White House who refuses to give the green light. So
sad and so unnecessary. If you visit Price Utah you see signs everywhere about
the WAR against coal by the White House. Now throw in Obamacare and the forced
cut in employment as well as hours by so many millions of people. ALL THIS CRAP
is so unnecessary and the poor folks who can't find work SHOULD be able to.
How long are people in this country going take it??
