@54-10Cause thankfully, beating Utah is not everything. You have bragging
rights for the next 3 years; I won't deny that. But I am still going to
enjoy watching BYU, and I hope Utah wins out.
54 - 10 don't get too cocky so you won the game, but easily could have lost
it, the funny thing is the voters for the last few years have had BYU ranked
higher than Utah, which has been the case this year as well. You can have the
game I'd rather have the higher ranking at the end of the year. And Scott maybe Utah should start playing their starters on special teams as
well since they've had already 2 players go 100+ yards for touchdowns
against them. 1 was called back for questionable call or it would have cost your
team a win. So stop with the stupid comments, BYU has had many more injuries
than the Utes and still plug them in and do just fine, they look pretty deep to
me. In fact how many lineman and linebackers does BYU play a game compared to
Utah? If Whittingham goes out on defense their defense has a major drop off,
that tells you their dept. So next time you might want to think before you
To BYU fans:Washington has lost 10 years in a row to Oregon. Now that
sucks. And Utah has never beaten Washington in their history. So UW is clearly
superior to Utah. But BYU has beaten UW several times in the last few years.
Therefore BYU must be superior to Utah.
@54-10Of course I will. Not having Utah on the schedule is a boon
to BYU. While the games were entertaining, I would never risk attending one at
RES for safety reasons. There are certain fans on both sides of the rivalry
that have set examples of the lowest of the low that humanity has to offer. BYU
fans throwing garbage on the officials is reason enough for BYU to never
schedule the Utes again. I won't go into the myriad of behaviors that
happen from the other fan base, though they have been similarly disappointing.
Just cancel the remaining three contract games and I personally will be
thrilled.Next year the teams won't face each other. Both teams
will be far better for it. BYU has a legit shot at the playoffs and Utah at the
PAC12 championship if each team continues its current trend. Playing each other
early has kept both teams from reaching their potential these past two years.
While BYU has lost the last several games, the physicality of the game likely
cost Utah two to three wins in the PAC12.
Steven S JarvisOrem, UT4 in a row and 9 of the last 12. Enjoy the next 3 years, I know I will.
BYU special teams have been exciting. If there hadn't been holding calls
on some of those returns BYU would have beat Utah.
Sounds more like a weak recruiting group with zero bench talent, Bronco needs
his starters to patch up the weak teams.
